Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was once a supermodel is a film director. Her beautiful beauty and successes in the field of film demonstrate her talent as an actor. In the 1970s, she began her modeling career. She quickly was one of the most prominent figures in this industry. Following her studies in acting Russo embarked on a career as a model in Los Angeles. Her career began as an amateur fighter competing in various regional promotions prior to signing to Invicta Fighting Championships and later becoming a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). It was the first ever women to compete in a title fight with any major organization worldwide. In the aftermath of this win Namajunas went onto have several more successful fights including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
